Acupuncture - Getting energy to flow
Dissolving energy blockages and strengthening the organs
Acupuncture is an important part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). With the help of acupuncture, a disturbed, that means a pathogenic flow of energy can be regulated through targeted pin pricks. It is based on life energies of the body (Qi), which circulate on defined longitudinal paths, the meridians, and have a controlling influence on all bodily functions.
The spinal cord and parts of the brain are stimulated by needle punctures at various nerve endings and the body’s own messenger substances and opiates such as endorphins or enkephalins are released. Acupuncture is used to counteract congestion, deficiencies, pain, allergies, chronic fatigue and susceptibility to infections.
